Established in 1931, Reed Island Springs Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith in our community. Founded by nine dedicated members and led by Rev. Frank D. Roach, our church has remained steadfast in its mission to glorify God and nurture spiritual growth. We invite you to join us in worship, fellowship, and spreading the message of Christ’s love.
Meet Our Pastor
Meet Pastor Shannon & Carolyn
Pastor Shannon and his wife Carolyn or as she is better known Bumblebee have been married for 32 years. They have 5 sons, 2 of which are preachers of the gospel. 5 daughter in laws and 6 grandchildren 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. They have ministered together all these years together first in the youth ministry, then in the Pastorate. God has blessed them with a loving and supportive and Crazy family. They give God all the Honor,Glory, and Praise for the blessings and struggles in life. Pastor Shannon's favorite verses are
(Col 1:16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
(Col 1:17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
(Col 1:18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
